Large Share $600

Typically provides a weeks supply of produce for a large family or three to four adults. For example, in August, a large share might contain 10 tomatoes, 8 ears of corn, green beans, cucumbers, squash, two heads of lettuce, beets, carrots and fresh basil, and more.

Small Share $465

For small families or two adults. With a small share you will receive a few less items and/or a smaller amount of an item as the large share.

How we decide what goes into each Weeks Share box:

We strive to make the individual box value consistent over the 20 week period. Your CSA share is worth about $23 per week, per small box, and $29.75 per large box.
Our goal is to make sure that over twenty weeks, the average box is worth the appropriate dollar amount.
We choose a variety of produce, and try to include an allium (onions, garlic, leeks, etc), some type of greens, a root crop, some fruit, and others each week.

The major challenge we face is the early July lull. There tends to be a flush of spring produce available in May and June, and then a return to abundance once the summer crops (squash, tomatoes, melons, peppers,
corn, and eggplants) ripen in late July. If you notice a slight dip in the size or appeal of your boxes in early July, know that it will be made equivalant with the cornucopia of August and September.

In the past, our early boxes represented less than the average amount, while the later boxes were higher value, in part because there is so much more produce available after July. Our Share Members prefer the Share box consistancy through the season.
